You've got questions, we've got answers.
How do I even know where to begin to find a great microblading artist?
So intimidating, right? I mean, you're trusting someone to tattoo your face, so first thing's first: cheap is not better. Microblading classes require very minimal initial training, so there are many artists out there with inexpensive prices as they increase their talents. Second, this is a tattooing procedure, so your artist needs to have exceptional sanitary practices along with their state license requirements. Finally, listen to your gut. Read their website, check out their photos, ask questions. You should feel very confident with who you choose to blade you!
what exactly is microblading?
Microblading (or eyebrow embroidery) is a relatively new, manual method of semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing.
It is done using a very fine blade to deposit pigments into the epidermis. Because we’re impacting color closer to the surface, the strokes appear crisp and very fine. There is no “spilling” or "blurring" under the skin.
This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. The results are natural looking, hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present. People suffering from alopecia, trigonometrical or any other condition that causes hair loss benefit greatly from Microblading, as well as people who simply aren’t happy with their eyebrows.
The pigments used in this method have been formulated to match your original eyebrow color, and if the eyebrows are still present, blend perfectly into them.
The results are a natural, flawless, fuller looking brow. Initially, the brows appear darker, but fade significantly over a two week period. It is absolutely crucial to have a touch up done, as it is very difficult to predict how well the skin will retain the pigment.

how long does microblading last?
The results can last anywhere from 11 to 18 months, depending on different factors affecting the procedure. However, a touch up once a year is recommended to retain the shape and saturation of pigment.
is microblading painful?
Many people ask us: is microblading painful?
Most of our clients report little or no pain. Since the microblading procedure takes a couple hours, some clients have fallen asleep! We leave a topical anesthetic on the eyebrow area for 20 minutes before we begin the process, so this leaves most clients numb during the procedure. However, if your artist begins within that 20 minutes, or if you find that you’re very sensitive, you may report mild discomfort.

why do i need to have 2 visits?
Your Perfection Session is absolutely mandatory! The initial visit is an amazing brow transformation but based on skin type, oil production, and after care, some of those strokes must be perfected and/or reinforced 6-8 weeks later. We also will add additional strokes, add dimension & perfect the shape. Microbladed brows are a 2-step process and we need to see how you initial session healed so we can adjust & perfect them.
What is the after care?
Microblading post-care is very important to the appearance and longevity of your new eyebrows. Do not let any water, lotion, soap, or makeup touch your eyebrow area during the first 7 days after your procedure.
After 5-7 days, make sure your hands are completely clean and gently apply the post-care ointment with clean hands. This can be done once at night time, but be sure to use the ointment sparingly as your skin needs to heal itself. Please continue to apply the ointment for 7 days.
The following must be avoided during all 14 days post-microblading procedure:
practicing sports
sweating
working out
sun exposure
laser treatments
saunas or steam rooms
ocean water

how do you choose the color?
Pigment color is chosen based on your skin tone, natural brow hair color, and desired outcome. We use the highly quality pigment available and often create custom blends for each client. More often than not clients tend be concerned with their brows turning out to dark. We tend to be be conservative with our pigment choice and we can easily darken your brows on your Perfection Visit.
how will my brows look in the long run & what is the long term care?
As the pigment is gradually exfoliated from your skin.Your microbladed eyebrows will eventually look softer and have more of a powdered look as the pigment fades. This happens to all clients and is part of the natural process. To keep your brows looking good we recommend a color boost every 12 months. Its important to note that results vary with each client.
SPF should be applied daily AFTER healing to ensure longer color retention. To much sun exposure or tanning will affect how quickly your brows fade. If you are planning a chemical peel, laser treatment, or any other medical procedure in your brow area please inform the technician prior to procedure of your microbladed brows as this area need to be carefully avoided.
