Each season starts with the players finding themselves in their \"pods\", small octagonal cells approximately 10 feet (3.0 m) across, and identified by Val by the number of their pod. The pods include a \"meal slot\" where food and other items may be given to the players as part of the \"treatment\"; several cameras, microphones, and one-way mirrors; and a lockable door to an \"ante-pod\" chamber where players may use the bathroom, be sequestered while challenges are set up in the pods, or for further interviews. Most importantly, the pods each contain a flat-screen television representing Val and red and green push buttons below it.
Once in the game, players are required to perform actions as instructed by Val. Players must press the green button to request permission to use the bathroom or make other similar requests. Outside of the \"Treatment\" phase, the player may hit the red button at any time to indicate they wish to quit the game.
The golf treatment finishes up with two other guests quitting. Val places a standing speed bag in each pod and has the guests get all of their aggression out, and explain what it is they are visualizing in place of the bag. They are then told to hit the bag as many times as possible in a certain amount of time. Whoever reports the highest amount will get the biggest chicken dinner, the second highest gets the second biggest meal, and so on. One guest decides that it is better to lie instead of being honest with Val, however Val punishes them by giving the a meal bar instead. In the test, the guests are navigating a maze of rooms on their TV screens. There is only one correct path to the finish room where they will see a virtual green button meaning they need to hit the real green button. Along the maze in certain rooms are number codes, where they must use four number blocks to figure out the random code, and grump rope rooms where they must do a certain amount of under overs. They are given a compass and jelly beans to help with the test. They are then given one of their personal items to use. Val then assigns each guest an instrument to play in the Solitary 4.0 air band. In the treatment, they must sit in a tall wooden chair with arms, seat, and back covered in metal pegs. They must also put on a metal crown attached to the top of the chair that puts more pressure on them pushing them into the pegs more. Each round, they must attach a metal chain (4 lbs) to a spike on the top of the crown thus adding even more weight and pressure onto them.Pod #6 was eliminated
The past treatment finishes with one other guest quitting. Val decides to turn the heat up in their pods, and give them a T-shirt frozen into a cylinder shape. The first person to unfreeze the T-shirt and put it on would get two slices of pizza, the second would get one piece, and third place would get a piece of crust. For the test, the guests had to dunk their heads into bowls of colored pudding in a colored sequence they had to memorize. The sequence would keep getting longer up until thirty colors. If all the guests messed up any of the sequence, then the entire test would start over with a different sequence until someone correctly got all the way to thirty. The winner of the test did not win exemption from the treatment, but a penalty to give someone in the treatment as well as a penalty pass which allows a one-time skip of a penalty round. For the treatment, the guests had to balance a ball on a beam that they had to support on their neck and shoulders. They had to cross their pods in octagons on the floor, or on a balance beam. There were also chains hanging from the ceiling as obstacles. The guests had to race to hit the green button, and the last person to hit it, eventually both the last two, had to do a penalty round. The penalty round consisted of putting the beam on their shoulders, and squatting against the wall for a certain time, increasing with each penalty. Eventually, the rounds were only squats and nothing else. The time of their squats was a buildup of the time from their last penalty. The episode ends before anyone quit.Pod #7 was eliminated
This accompanying volume to the Standards focuses on a key kind of assessment: the evaluation that occurs regularly in the classroom, by the teacher and his or her students as interacting participants. As students conduct experiments, for example, the teacher circulates around the room and asks individuals about their findings, using the feedback to adjust lessons plans and take other actions to boost learning.
In the room with the elevator shaft, use a large character to pull the green handles on the left wall. Activate the shield switch behind it to make the big figure in the corner dance, then snag Minikit #3.
In the final prisoner room there are a series of rock crushers at the back. The bridge leading to this room has a body beneath the end of it, with the \"Crude Drawing\". After freeing all of the prisoners, the gate opens at the far end. There will be a big green arrow on the mini-map pointing up a small ramp. To the west of the small ramp, backtrack to find a \"Torn Letter\".
In Coup de Grâce, Jasper, scared for Monty and Harper who are missing, decides to finally confront President Dante Wallace to ask him some questions. Jasper pulls a sword on him, but Dante manages to overcome Jasper and take the sword from him. Seeing him distraught, Dante realizes that Cage and Tsing kidnapped his friends and are using them for their experiments. Dante takes himself to Tsing's lab, and orders for her arrest, freeing Monty and Harper. When Dante attempts to arrest Cage however, the guards turn on Dante and arrest him, with Cage stating that their people deserve to go to the ground. Meanwhile, Bellamy Blake allows himself to be captured, posing as a Grounder in order to infiltrate Mount Weather and find the Delinquents. Maya finds him, after his is tortured and is being drained, having taken the place of a grounder. Maya sets him free but they are stopped by Sgt. Lovejoy. Maya and Bellamy defend themselves from Lovejoy, but are saved by Echo, the grounder inside a cage that Bellamy helped. Bellamy takes the clothes of Lovejoy and says he will come back for Echo and all the other grounders. While Jasper is locked along with the other delinquents in his room, Bellamy and Maya run off to think of ways to save them, with Jasper noticing and finding hope in Bellamy's presence.
Brenner later directed Eleven to spy on a Soviet agent. A room in the lab's underground complex contained a sensory deprivation tank used to enhance Eleven's psychic powers; when sensorily deprived, Eleven could become immersed in an inner mental void, in which she could project her consciousness and psychically reach out to other living creatures. On an unspecified date - likely in 1983 - Eleven was lowered into the tank before entering her Void. She succeeded in finding the agent, but she unwittingly encountered a creature from another dimension, transmitting the creature's noises over the loudspeakers in Brenner's control booth. Eleven panicked and the experiment was aborted, but Brenner remained intrigued by the creature.
The protagonist, Erik Dorian, is tied to a chair in one of the rooms of a dingy laboratory. He must escape before he is part of a dangerous experiment by the mad scientist. Tap on Erik to wake him up. He will struggle to untie himself. Tap on him again to reach his tied hands.
Back in engineering, La Forge is investigating the earlier matter on the bridge. Over the comm, he informs Picard that they are analyzing the computer systems data but it is not showing anything unusual. In his ready room, Picard orders La Forge to initiate a level 1 diagnostic series. Picard tells La Forge that he needs the computer working 100%, in order to expedite Dr. Stubbs' experiment and the food slots in sickbay, before closing the channel.
He informs Stubbs that Lieutenant Commander La Forge is attempting to resolve the situation but the doctor is only interested in his experiment. Picard reassures him that the experiment will go ahead as planned, as long as it is safe to do so, and that the safety of the ship and crew come first. The counselor attempts to reassure Stubbs but he is adamant to continue his experiment, saying that he would rather die than leave. A moment later, he stands up. \"Well, if we don't leave in time, it's one sure way to get into the record books, eh\" he says, before leaving the room. After he has left, Troi explains that Stubbs has put his entire self-worth on the line for the experiment and that he really would rather die than leave. 781b155fdc
